April 04, 2017

The sound of Americana music will fill the air in downtown Abilene for the Open Road concert series, which benefits the Community Foundation of Abilene’s Future Fund.

Future Fund board members Taylor Sturgis and Sam Vinson developed plans for the concert series as a way to boost funding and membership for the fund, which supports programs that cater to youth in the Abilene area.

Artists and dates are listed below. You can click on each performer’s name for more information on the musician and his/her music.

  • April 27: Adam Carroll
  • June 1: Paul Cauthen
  • July 6: Nikki Lane
  • August 3: Tyler Childers

Season tickets are $100 for all four concerts and include an open beer and wine bar from 7:30-8:30 p.m., provided by The Mill. Tickets for this season have sold out. If you have any further ticket questions, email Taylor Sturgis at taylor.sturgis@gmail.com.

The performers will play from 8:30-9:30 p.m. Food trucks will be parked outside The Grace from 6:30-8 p.m. with food available for purchase.
