Each year, the Community Foundation invites nonprofit staff and leadership to training and workshop events. We are invested in our nonprofits and their effort to build capacity. Our mission is to be a central place where nonprofits can find resources, develop tools, access to industry experts, and more.
CFA Learn
CFA Learn is a quarterly nonprofit educational series dedicated to equipping nonprofits with the resources they need to be successful.
Past sessions have covered topics such as: fundraising techniques, planned giving, sustainability through endowments, grantmaking, HR and team building, marketing, and much more.

Nonprofit Leadership Academy
Nonprofit Leadership Academy provides nonprofit executive leaders with expanded tools, knowledge, and connections to enhance their organization’s impact and sustainability. The nine-month program covers essential topics for nonprofits in a cohort style. Participants represent Abilene and the West-Central Texas region.
