Nonprofits can benefit from grants made through the Community Foundation of Abilene. While donor-directed grants from advised funds contribute to funding in grants awarded, most of the Foundation’s grantmaking efforts are funded by unrestricted funds from the endowment.
Eligible nonprofits apply for funds, volunteer grant committees make award recommendations, and the Foundation's Board approves.
