Update your browserFuture Fund awarded more than $90,000 in grants during its 2021 grant cycle. Future Fund is an endowment fund that makes grants to nonprofits serving children and youth in the Abilene area. The fund is membership supported and is managed by the Community Foundation of Abilene. Members pay $250/year to join as an individual or couple. These dollars are pooled into the endowment, and investment revenue is used to make grants each year. CFA's donor-advised fundholders can also make grants from their funds to support nonprofits applying for funding during the Future Fund grant cycle.
