Each fall, the city's nonprofit arts groups come together under one roof to celebrate the Abilene Art Award winners and recipients of the Abilene Cultural Affairs Council's grant programs. The Abilene Art Award winners are chosen by each art organization from their pool of volunteers and supporters. In addition, the ACAC will present the Outstanding Individual and Outstanding Business of the Year awards. The luncheon's decorations will highlight the NCCIL art exhibit being celebrated at the upcoming Children's Art + Literacy Festival, which will be the art of Winnie-the-Pooh for CALF 2026. The Winnie books were originally illustrated by award-winning English artist Ernest H. Shepard.
Tickets are $37.50 each, and tables of 8 are $300. For more information, contact Vikki at operations@abilenecac.org.
