Stanley and Claudie Wilson Scholarship

The Stanley and Claudie Wilson Scholarship was established to assist deserving young people from the Abilene area (Taylor County and adjoining counties) who wish to attend college. This scholarship will give preference to students desiring to prepare for a legal or literary career. Special consideration may be granted to students planning to attend The University of North Texas, The University of Texas at Austin, Rice University, Trinity University, UCLA or the Julliard School, although all students are encouraged to apply.
 

Eligibility

• Graduate of a high school from one of the following counties – Callahan, Coleman, Fisher, Jones, Runnels, Shackleford or Taylor 
• Must be in the top 20% of your graduating class or have at least a 3.0 gpa in your most recent college semster
