Future Fund

February 10, 2020

Kelsey and Andrew Caprio became Future Fund members in 2019. Andrew is Deputy Director of Rapid Capabilities for the 7th Bomb Wing at Dyess Air Force Base. Kelsey is the Marketing & Business Development Manager for Hendrick Regional Blood Center.

In this Future Fund Member Spotlight, Kelsey talks about why they decided to join.

"We joined Future Fund because it offered us a way to give back to our community together. Andrew is extremely active on base, and I am in The Junior League of Abilene and we were looking for a non-profit that we could support together as a couple. Future Fund was a perfect fit for us because of the focus on the children in our area. By being Future Fund members we can support non-profits that support the future of Abilene. We may not be from Abilene but we consider it home and strive to not only support it but be involved members of it.

One of our favorite things about being part of this group is that we get to serve alongside some really incredible people. The members not only have the same goals for Abilene but work to make it better every year! They are committed to Abilene just as much as we are which is so great! We also love attending the socials with other members, it is so fun to meet and chat with everyone. Andrew loves being on the Grant Committee and being able to have a hands on influence on the grants given to non-profits. It really has been such a wonderful experience to be part of and learn from.

Joining Future Fund has been such an amazing experience and a great way for us to give back to Abilene since Abilene has given us so much! We are so lucky to call Abilene home and be members of Future Fund."
