Abilene Founder Lions Club – Randell & Evangeline Watkins Scholarship

The Watkins’ primary desire was to assist students who would not usually receive scholarships, but who were quite capable of being successful in college. Dr. Randell Watkins started the department at Abilene Christian University and was a life member of the Lions Club, as well as a director of Lions International.
 

Eligibility 

• Must be a junior or senior at Abilene High or Cooper 
• Must rank between 50-150 in their class 
• Work at least 10 hours a week (must work 10 hours per week to maintain renew)
