Uvalde Strong

May 25, 2022

We are utterly heartbroken by the May 24th tragedy at a Uvalde, Texas elementary school. The San Antonio Area Foundation (SAAF) and the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country have partnered to collect and distribute funds to support survivors and victims' families. Below are three fund options where you can donate.

Uvalde Strong Survivors Fund

SAAF's Uvalde Strong Survivors Fund will provide direct financial assistance to the survivors of the deceased and those directly affected by this tragedy. This fund is in partnership with the National Compassion Fund.

Uvalde Strong Fund (San Antonio Area Foundation)

SAAF's Uvalde Strong Fund is an emergency relief fund to support area nonprofits providing assistance such as mental health services in the Uvalde community.

Uvalde Strong Fund (Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country)

Funds from this Uvalde Strong Fund will support affected families, nonprofits providing essential response services, medical institutions caring for victims, and organizations conducting long-term efforts in the Uvalde community.
