Save the Date for Abilene Gives 2018!


Calling all local nonprofits!  It’s time to register for Abilene Gives 2018!

Abilene Gives is a 24-hour online giving event designed to empower every person to give back to their community by supporting local nonprofit organizations and causes they care about in one easy-to-use platform.

If you’re a citizen who cares about the benevolent causes in our community, then mark your calendar for May 1 and prepare to give where you live at abilenegives.orgLEARN MORE HERE


Deadline: Registration to participate in Abilene Gives is open now through April 1.  REGISTER HERE

Early Bird: We have an early bird special going on right now! If you register between now and February 28, the fee is $75 to participate.

After February 28: After February 28, the fee increases to $100. The fee must be paid up front to participate this year.

Profile: If you participated last year, your profile is still in the system and just needs to be activated. You can access your 2017 profile here. If you need step-by-step instructions on accessing your profile, click here.

The Community Foundation of Abilene is hosting an Abilene Gives nonprofit workshop on February 22.

Some of what we’ll cover in this session:

  • Improved marketing tools for nonprofits
  • Review the process and importance of securing challenge funds
  • Promotion and strategy checklist
  • A new advanced giving option
  • Q&A to answer any questions you may have

Please make sure you have at least one representative at this workshop. It can be a staff member, board member, and/or volunteer. Anyone who will be working on your Abilene Gives strategy team can attend.

There will be coffee and muffins!
