We're celebrating more than $100 million in grants made since our founding in 1985!
The donors who make these grants possible and the nonprofits who work to better our community are part of this impact.
Together, we're making philanthropy possible in Abilene. We like to call it #Abilanthropy.
Everybody has an #Abilanthropy story.
If you support charitable causes in our community with your time, money, or other resources, you are part of #Abilanthropy!
From July through October, we'll share stories on this page and on our social media outlets to showcase some of the $100m of impact made over the years.
We want members of our community to have the chance to serve as grantmaker.
To celebrate our milestone, we're going to choose 100 people who will get to make a $100 grant to the local nonprofit organization of their choice. That's $10,000 to support local causes!
All you have to do is use the hashtag #Abilanthropy on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram for a chance to be chosen to make a $100 grant. Make sure the post is public. Between now and November, we'll choose at least one person each weekday who will get to make a grant.
