COVID-19 Relief: Donors Give $173k to Support Abilene

Abilene has stepped up again in time of need. Donors contributed more than $173,000 to meet local needs through CFA's Support Abilene effort.

Types of gifts: CFA provided a list of nonprofit needs in a public grant catalog. Many donations were designated to support specific needs, and others were general gifts allocated by a CFA grant committee. CFA donor-advised fundholders also recommended grants from their funds to support nonprofit needs.

Grantees: The vast majority of the $173k has already been granted out to nonprofits, and the remainder will go out in the coming weeks. The nonprofits that have received grants thanks to Support Abilene donations are listed below.
