The Community Foundation of Abilene joins community foundations from across Texas to support the El Paso Community Foundation’s efforts to help the families of victims affected by the August 3rd shooting.
CFA has contributed a $1,500 grant to the El Paso Shooting Victims’ Fund held at the El Paso Community Foundation.
Other community foundations to support these efforts include Communities Foundation of Texas, the North Texas Community Foundation, the Dallas Foundation and others.
“We are deeply saddened by the tragedy in El Paso. This is an important time to support the El Paso community, and we are honored to join other community foundations throughout the state to provide assistance for the victims’ families in this unfathomably difficult time,” said Community Foundation of Abilene President/CEO Katie Alford.
